Santa Claus is coming to town!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year – and we are celebrating the magic and wonder of the season at the 19th annual Merry Main Street. Join us for the official kick-off of the Christmas holidays featuring Santa’s arrival to Frisco and the following activities:
* Santa’s arrival (approximately 5:00 p.m.)
* Lighting of the City of Frisco Christmas tree (approximately 6:00 p.m.)
* Kid’s Holiday Store
* Frisco Express Train Rides
* American Railroad Museum model train display
* Live reindeer
* Santa’s Workshop
* Holiday treats
* Snowflake light show
* Horse-drawn carriage rides
* Entertainment on three stages provided by Frisco Elementary Schools and other Frisco talent
* And Much More!

Kid's Holiday Store
Kids – Shop ‘til you Drop! This special store gives children 12 years and younger the chance to shop for moms and dads, as well as brothers and sisters. Nothing in the store is more than $5. “Santa’s Helpers” will assist children as they shop for special gifts. All shoppers will go home with wrapped gifts. Children can reserve a time slot to shop in advance. You can reserve a wristband for a shopping time slot for your child beginning at 4:30 p.m. on December 5. The colored wristband will coordinate with a 20 minute shopping time.
Entrance to the Kid's Holiday Store is to the back (south) side of City Hall.
Here are the shopping rules:
* Shoppers will select from one of twelve, 20-minute shopping sessions.
* Each session will accommodate 45 shoppers
* Children will receive a colored bracelet to indicate when they will be shopping.
* Official time clocks will be on display – you must arrive within five minutes of your start time in order to shop.
* No grownups allowed; shoppers 12 and under only.
* Shoppers must be accompanied by one of ‘Santa’s Helpers.’
* Gifts are limited to parents or guardian and siblings.
* Parents must wait in the “Parent Waiting Area” while children shop.
* Children will be escorted back to their parents after they have made their purchases.
