Begin your quest for the perfect Halloween pumpkin at the Pumpkin Splash Patch at the Frisco Athletic Center Indoor Aquatic Center. Children 2 ½ to 10 years of age should come wearing their swimsuits for this holiday hunt. Participants will hunt for their perfect pumpkin in the pool, decorate it and take it home. In addition, there will be other holiday crafts to create and costume characters will be entertaining children and taking photos with them.
Price includes a pumpkin, supplies, swim pass for the day and a special Trick-or-Treat goodie bag. Pre-registration is required for this event and is available online or in person at the Frisco Athletic Center. Online registraion ends Friday, October 19. Registration will be available in person at the Frisco Athletic Center the morning of the event until 9:45 a.m. if spots remain available.
Check-in for all ages is at 10:30 a.m. Ages 2 ½ - 4 will be located in the Play Pool and begin at approximately 10:50 a.m., followed by ages 5-6 at 11:05 a.m. in the Current Channel. Ages 7-10 will begin at approximately 11:20 a.m. in the Activity Pool.
Children ages 7-8 are required to wear a life jacket, which will be provided. Life jackets are optional for ages 9-10.
For participants who choose to stay and swim after the event, please note that Indoor Aquatic Center rules require that children under the age of seven have an adult in the water actively participating with them at all times.
