How The Course Got It's Name
The course is named for American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame inductee “Dash for Cash”. The racing legend was born on B.F. Phillips’ Frisco ranch in 1973. The famous stallion was the first horse to have consecutive victories in the Champion of Champions (1976 and 1977), according to the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum. “Dash for Cash” experienced a dual career as a racehorse and sire of racehorses.
